LTAC's Young Title Person Award goes to Denise Stewart of Heritage Title
By Kelli Klein, LTAC Convention and Awards Committee
Below is this year’s announcement speech from the 2013 convention. Congratulations Denise!!
This year’s Land Title Association of Colorado’s Outstanding Young Title Person began as aprint puller 17 years ago. Yes, if you did that math in your head that would mean she began when she was in high school. She quickly moved into the escrow arena and developed into a closer for Heritage Title Company and received multiple awards based on revenue. In 2010, she was recognized by the Fidelity family of companies as a Top Producer for the State of Colorado. In 2012, she continued to develop her expertise in the industry by trading in the closing table for her car and is now a sales executive in North Metro Denver.
Community involvement is a true priority for this nominee. One of her largest contributions is with Heritage Hearts in Partnership. This group creates and organizes volunteer opportunities for employee participation. One her more recent projects was heading up their in-house recycling program. Her many other activities include interactive meetings at senior living communities the Tennyson Center for Children, Denver Children’s Home and Extreme Community Makeover.
Now, I would like to read an excerpt what this nominee’s manager had to say:
“Overall I feel that she has experienced almost all aspects of working within a title company. She walks the walk and talks the talk about the value of our industry and believes that having true knowledge and understanding of our business is an important attribute. She is beyond being a team player and works to help everyone succeed. I have seen her work numerous hours, nights and weekends to take care of her customers. She exemplifies what it means to be employed by a title company”.
It is with great pride I present the 2013 Land Title Association of Colorado Outstanding Young Title Person to Denise Stewart of Heritage Title Company.
